stuck in a rut

I realized today I am stuck in a rut! So all my rented DVDs are going back and I reserved new ones to get me doing something new and re-motivate myself!
My reserve list consists of kickboxing! I have always loved it and thought it was time to try some new routines:)

I did weigh in today and wasn’t jumping up and down but what the scale says and how my clothes fit are a result of my actions. So I need to re-evaluate my routine and actions, starting with inconsistent exercise. I have been keeping track and realized I will go good and then slack for a week, slack meaning “nothing!”. 
So with the warm weather my walking will start back up. I did try running again yesterday but ended up enjoying more of a fast paced walk and then another walk later that night with The Husband. My walking totaled up to a little over 3 miles! I am sore today but I also did strength training, so combo of both.


week 4 January 26, 2011

Today was my weigh in day! I am so excited because I ahve been working out steadily and learning to portion my meals, snacks and even my cravings.

January 26th:

  • weight: 143.4
  • Arms: (L)10  (R)10 1/2
  • Chest: 32
  • Bust: 38 1/2
  • Waist: 30
  • Hips: 42
  • Thighs: (L) 23 1/2  (R) 23

Overall: loss of 1.8lbs and 5 1/4 inches.
                      1.8 lbs is a little over what I like to lose in a week, The slower the weight loss the better. But I am excited to see my hard work paying off!!

This weeks weigh in was today, January 19th:

  • Weight: 145.2
  • Arms: (L) 11   (R) 10 1/2
  • Chest: 32 1/2
  • Bust: 38
  • Waist: 32
  • Hips: 42 1/2
  • Thighs: (L) 24   (R) 23 1/2

Overall: loss of .2 lbs and an average loss of 1.5 inches.

I cannont log this weeks cardio because it is still the middle of the week but so far I have logged one day of 30min. 4 more to go =)


week 1-2 catch up

I started my journey on January 4th, 2011. 

  • weight: 146.4

           I also wanted to keep track of inches because muscle weighs more than fat!

  • Arms: (L) 10 1/2   (R) 10
  • Chest: 32 1/2
  • Bust: 37 1/2
  • Waist: 32
  • Hips: 42
  • Thighs: (L) 24   (R) 24 1/2

The week of January 2-7 I worked out 30min for 5 days! My goal this month was 30min 5 days a week. So this week was a success!=)

My weigh in on January 12:

  • weight: 145.4
  • Arms: (L) 11   (R) 10 1/2
  • Chest: 33
  • Bust: 39
  • Waist: 32
  • Hips: 42
  • Thighs: (L) 24   (R) 23 1/2

This week I did slack on my cardio…not proud of it. I did 3omin 3 days.

Some losses and gains but overall it was: loss of 1 pound and gain of  an average of 2 inches. I need to step up my cardio and really set my mind to accomplishing 5days.
      But overall I am proud of my 5day accomplishment and my 1 pound loss.


The current me January 18, 2011

So this is the current me=) at my heaviest! but 1 pound less than when the year started! I am learning to set small goals and to celebrate reaching my small goals.

I plan on going all out and posting my weights, inches, gains, losses and my goals I set for myself.  If I am going to do this then I am going to do it right and be held accountable by myself and any readers. =)
