I think with the cold weather and pretty snow made it so much harder to get up, I could not wake up. (Probably didn’t help that my husband had off). But I made myself, I weighed myself because I was feeling good and I am down another .6=). After that I enjoyed a hot piece of chocolate chip banana bread and was on my way to a long day at work!

It has been a slow day at work, so I have been blogging and reading. When emailing the author of the blog www.healthytippingpoint.com I received good advice and thoughts to consider. She sent me to a website, http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm , and here I calculated what I would need to do to maintain my current weight. From there she advised me to take it slow, for example cut 250 calories and burn 250 calories. I already burn roughly around 250 calories, but according to this and her advice I was not eating enough. So I raised my calories, I feel good about it too.
Today I have also decided I am going to learn what I eat and what the portions(including a round about of calories) looks like. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life counting numbers, so if I can get images and learn it will become like second nature.

I had a nice night at my parent’s, worked out on the elliptical(forgot how hard that is!) and then just relaxed for the night. =)

Food log/plan:

  • Chocolate chip banana bread: 200
  • Swiss Miss hot chocolate with a little coffee: 115
  • Cheese quesadilla: 157
    —so hungry for some reason and had this leftover from lunch yesterday that I did not eat.
  • Trader Joe’s Organic White Cheddar single serving Macaroni and Cheese with 2 Saltine crackers: 254
  • Small piece of cake: ?150?
    —a bakery near by brought a small cake for the bank to try. I had a very small piece, so good! Very proud of myself for portion control!
  • Peaches: 60
  • Husband’s turkey chili: 300 + cheese 82 = 382
  • sugar free pudding cup: 80
